Default Aux Input > Plug-in on 6.4?

Hello there. I have been using 6.4 in Windows XP with my 001 for years. Up until now I have not had a problem. Yes I know it is an ancient system to most people but I just haven't needed to upgrade.

My problem is that I want to separate the outputs from a plug-in called Addictive Drums and according to their documentation, I have to do that as follows:

Quote:
1. Create an instance of AD.

2. Open AD and click the Out arrow in the AD mixer for every
mixer channel you want to route.

3. Create a mono aux track for every mixer channel you want to route, and a stereo aux for every stereo mixer channel (Overhead, Room and Bus) you want to route. Click the Track menu and select New.... Change Audio Track to Aux Input. Click Create.

4. In the mix window, click the input box of the first Aux track and select plug-in > Addictive Drums - Inst 1 - Insert a > AD Kick to route the kick drum.

5. Repeat step 4 until you have routed all the mixer channels you want to route.
They even have a handy screen shot:

Imagine my disappointment when I saw that there was no option to select a plug-in in the relevant menu.

Is there a way to do this in 6.4 or is it time to go back to Cubase?
