Default Do I have to port to Cubase?

I don´t have a AGP computer only a ATI Radeon Mac edition graphics card (which got a better performance than the AGP graphic!)
and a Sonnet G4/500mhz processor plus a fast IDE HD.

This isn´t enough for Pro Tools 6.0!
Do I have to go for a Cubase SX instead to
get the possibility to work in OSX?
Is this true Digidesign?
