Default Bounce multiple clips to separate files?

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to select a bunch of clips on one track and bounce every clip to a separate file? Or any other workaround?

It's a couple of hours material to bounce and would be nice to leave it and let it run, and not end up with a 23 hour long file..

Export clips as files as opposed to bounce to disk.

If you need processing on the files that you’ve added via inserts, you could Audiosuite the files and then export. Actually, you wouldn’t even need to export as the audio would be rendered when using Audiosuite. It was just be a matter of pulling the newly rendered files out of the Audio Files folder.

It would probably be ever quicker to Commit the track (or the Aux, if there is bus processing) than to render each AudioSuite process individually.

This is an audio book. Processing the narrator on a mono track then sent to the master fader which contains a ProLimiter at -3 dBTP.
Every chapter separately.
Delivery in stereo 24/48 wav.
I don't think audio suite or commit will create a stereo file though? Of course I could try but I'm too lazy right now :)

Reminds me of the Sound Forge times and batch processing..

I've got RX7 but never used batch processing and I definitely can't use the EQ7 and Pro Limiter in RX7.

If you make the Master Fader a stereo Aux instead, then you can commit the "master" Aux and it will result in stereo files with all of the processing from the source track and the Aux applied to the files.

True. If multiple inserts are used, commiting would be quicker.

Close but no cigarr. Commit the aux creates the same long file as a normal bounce would create. Guess this one goes into a feature wish list.

Needless to say, easily done with Logic Pro.. "Export 26 regions as files"... sigh..

AVID is conservative when it comes to features that improves workflow, and that approach I could defend IF it also came with great stability and less bugs.
But it's not.

That gives you a very long single file with all the chapters consolidated with the silence between the clips.
But since that's the only option I'm doing this now and after that I will select all clips and invert selection and cut away the silence and then consolidate one clip at the time. Sigh.
