hey Folks,

I hope you get this sorted. I have been working through the reference manual over the last month or so and are finally up to the automation section. I'm posting here to follow this thread in case I come across the same issue.

However I have seen the reference to "trashing preferences" several times since I have been a member of this forum. My Q is in case ever I need to do it, what does this involve? im guessing (putting my slightly nerdy hat on) it involves deleting some files from a particular folder.... files that are written possibly during shut down or start up of PT? that can from time to time cause issues

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment....
