Default Virtual Instrument Suggestion

Hey all,

I'm finally going to upgrade my G4, 001, PT 5.1!! I'm looking to get a Macbook Pro and a control surface 003.

I also am looking to massively update my sound library. Any one have any suggestions on a sound module or virtual synth that will give me great sounds and flexibility for recording pop and rock music?

Also, has anyone had any issues with the set-up I'm getting I need to be aware of?

Normally, I'l search the forum before posting this, but I'm at work and trying to lay under the radar of my boss!

Thanks,

bounce
