Converting wma files
Is it possible for Macintosh to convert wma files (Windows Media Player format) to mp3 or some other format that Pro Tools can read?
I copied a wma file from a digital voice recorder to my Mac's desktop. It plays well with the Window Media Player application. However, Pro Tools could not read this file when I tried importing it into a session. The only file conversion applications I have found are for Windows format. Any ideas? Thanks. Re: Converting wma files
If you can't find a WMA converter, you can also use Audio Hijack to capture any audio file that you can play on a mac to a PT compatible File type. This often saves my behind when I have no time to look for a file conversion app.
