Default switching Plugs from TDM to RTAS for my whole session

Is there a way to switch all my plug-ins from TDM to RTAS for the whole session instead of having to do it one by one ? Thanks

Try'
Open one of the channels' plug ins say in slot A to start.
Select all the channels you want this to apply to.
Press Shift & Alt together, then click on the TDM tab under the bypass tab in the plugin and change it to RTAS.
This should change all the plugins in slot A of all the channels you have selected.

Hhhmmm.

Evidently your understanding of written Engish may need some assistance.

The 1st clue being the word "try" the second being the word "should". .

if I had know "definitely" then the 2 clues would have read, "do" & will"

I will "try" it tomorrow in the studio & get back to you.

Easy now . .

Open any plugin, and hold Option (Alt on Win) while selecting "Convert to RTAS" THIS will convert all "Same Insert slot" plugins across the mixer to RTAS

Repeat for additional insert slots

I'm not the OP, but I can think of a good reason to do this: Say you are taking a recording session, where real-time TDM plugins were important, and converting it into a mixing session where latency is a non-issue. Now you want to be able to use a lot more plugins. By converting your TDM plugins to RTAS you greatly increase the number of plug-ins you can instantiate. You can still use TDM hardware for TDM-only plug-ins. This sort of resource juggling is particularly important when working at higher sampling rates.

+1

i was trying to figure out this very keystroke the other day in an HD3 lab (for the very reason you stated) - would have saved me about 10 minutes.
