Default Mac OSX 10.2.8, Mbox, Pro Tools LE and Cubase SX 1

This has probably been asked and answered 1000 times but I can't find it so here we go (again?) I have a PowerBook G4 and an Mbox. Upon boot up, the USB light on the Mbox stays off. All system sounds come through the little speakers. Not a problem. Run Pro Tool Le 6.1.2, USB light come on, Pro Tools uses Mbox as said on the tin. No problem. Close Pro Tools, open Cubase, USB light still on, Cubase uses internal speakers. D'oh! Look in device set up etc, no Mbox option. Run Audiomidi setup in OSX, no Mbox option. Please help!
