Wah controller granularity
I've never been able to use a wah pedal to any benefit of my music, so I don't currently own one. But now that I've got my new 11R, I'm wanting to try it out again. I noticed though, that it's possible to demo the wah by using the control knobs on the front. But when I do this, there is some very noticable stepping in the sound. Does it step just as much if I were to use a control pedal? I wonder if a midi cc does the same thing. Or is this just a matter of knobs weren't meant to control a wah effect? In short, am I better off just putting a real wah pedal in front?

Re: Wah controller granularity
I've never noticed any granularity when using a MIDI CC pedal.

Re: Wah controller granularity
Never noticed jumping myself unless a pedal was not calibrated correctly. I think you will be fine with a MIDI pedal. Order one from somewhere with a 30 day return policy, then if you don't like it, trade it in for a standard wah pedal.
