Midi sound??? - Avid Pro Audio Community

Midi sound???

When I load midi files into instrument tracks, I don't hear any sound unless I assign a specific vst plug in to each track. How can i get pro tools to assign these tracks to General Midi so that i always have a starting sound for each track?
