PLayback Does Not Start at Cursor Point

I've probably just got a button wrongly pushed somewhere, but I can't figure it out. Usually, playback starts at wherever I put the cursor. And if I highlight a certain section, then only that section will play. Right now, neither is true. Regardless of where I place the cursor, the track plays from the point it was last saved at. Also, the track does not follow highlighted sections. I'm trying to choose a certain section of 16 bars, but the track keeps playing past that point (and the cursor continues along with it).

I think it's called tab to transience. And I believe it's the button on the far right under the tool selector (trim, pencil, etc.).

Yeah.. along with post roll maybe? Sounds like he's sayin the selection plays but doesn't stop...I don't know I hadn't had my FRUIT SNACKS yet
