According to Avid, PT12.6 is qualified on 10.9.5, 10.10.5 and 10.11.6.

Seems to be running fine for me on Sierra as well.

I didn't use 12.6 for long but the first thing I checked was GUI lag when moving the mouse in the Edit screen and everything was smooth(Transport and meters on the Mix screen).
