Monitor to screen 1080p24 QT movie with Aja T-tap

Hello -
as a soundtrack composer I often need to watch 1080p24 video files from my Pro Tools 12 movie sessions. I use Aja T-tap as video output and I only can screen it with my projector. None of my monitors through can display this resolution AJA T-Tap. Any idea which monitor to get in order to screen this video format?

Surely any monitor that accepts HDMI? I have T-tap myself and feed the HDMI out to my projector and convert the SDI out to HDMI and send it to a monitor in the dub booth. Works very well.

can the HDMI cable be an issue when monitor does not screen the 1080p24 format?

If your monitor is old it might not support full HD 1080p resolution at 24FPS.
Try to press holding Command key on your Video Track resolution and choose 720 resolution instead of 1080p. See if it helps. If so - time to change your monitors to supporting the full HD or 4K ones ;-)
