Offline Bounce with Hardware Insert?

I wonder how would offline bounce through HW inserts work? What would be the sampling frequency of AD/DA converters? DBX120 is an analog box, isn't it?

It happened to me a few times, after a long day+night in the studio, I tried to bounce a session including HW insert (RMU, to be more precise) offline, and all I got were files with no sound at all.

And there is an explanation - page 1195 of the reference manual:

"Limitations of Offline Bounce
When using the Offline Bounce option, the following
are not included in the bounce:
• Hardware Inserts
• External MIDI driven audio (such as outboard
MIDI synthesizers or samplers).
• External audio sources monitored by Auxiliary
Input tracks.
• DSP only plug-ins (Offline Bounce always uses
the Native version of DSP plug-ins, but only if
they are available).
• Any audio source that is synchronized externally."

So, my question to OP is: Are you really sure it worked?
