Default Delay Comping for no reason

Look at the numbers. This only happens on AUDIO tracks and there are no hidden tracks and the track showing orange(7 samples) has the highest plugin latency. I can't for the life of me figure out why the 1024 readings exist! and, why is it only on AUDIO tracks? If I try to track like this, the latency in the phones is awful, but as soon as I disable the compensation, everything sounds/works fine for tracking.

what buffer setting are you at ?? could it be that the Buffer Setting is showing in the ADC readout ?? if you change your buffer - toggle it from where it is to another value .. does it change down there ?? i do not run HD so i cannot perform an apples to apples here for you ...

All tracks feeding the main outputs. A single VCA for the drums. Any AUX tracks are fed via AUX sends from AUDIO tracks. That's it Nothing fancy, nothing routed thru a bus. Each track has 5 sends feeding outputs(for headphone mixes). Also, its not consistent to every session. I've been doing this stuff for years and this just makes no sense to me. Next time around, I will try trashing prefs again, but its a head-scratcher

That's some pretty serious compression you've got going on there.

Or gating/expansion.

Dead auxes can mess up delay comp. Are you sure that all 5 of those auxes for headphones are always going to active output?

Valid question, and yes they are all routed to active outs. Any time I open a session with any routing greyed out, I have to fix it due to the OCD in me. But since I am also ADD, I only need things to be just right.....for a few seconds......
