Controlling ProTools with Yamaha 01v
Hi!
I'm trying to control ProTools from my Yamaha 01v digital mixing console, and so far I've managed to control faders 1-8. Does anyone have any ideas how to take it from here? I'd like to control faders 9-14(or 16 if possible), and also on/off and solo functions, but I don't know what values to enter where in the 01v. If someone could help, I'd be really glad cause this is handy (and very cool) and I'd like it to be handier and cooler...

Re: Controlling ProTools with Yamaha 01v
A search in the last year in the PTLE Mac forum for "Yamaha 01v" (quotation marks = exact phrase when searching)
brings up this thread that may help, among others: http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.php?&Number=803808

Re: Controlling ProTools with Yamaha 01v
The way the 01v works only allows for 8 channels to be controlled at once. The thread mentioned by Digidesign has a document that Yamaha sent me about setting up the 01v, although you seem to be pretty well off with that.
