Default How to match 2 tracks with session tempo?

Let's say:

I've 2 tracks:

Track1 - 128bpm
Track2 - 127bpm

Session tempo: 130bpm

How can I comform these two tracks to the Session tempo, so I can mix them?

I've to create a 3h mix session... When Bouncing will I have to wait 3 hours??

I'm new to pro tools... sorry but I'm about to give up Pro Tools, please show me the light :)

I would import track 2 making it elastic and changing the tempo to 128. Then import track 1 making that track elastic and changing the session tempo to 130.

Ditto - and make sure you have the tracks set to Tick-based.

Real Time bouncing I'm afraid. A 3 hour session will take 3 Hours to bounce.

If you are using a single mono or stereo track, with your songs spread across the timeline, you can consolidate all the songs into 1 long audio file and export it, which will take a few seconds.

If you are using multiple tracks though, this method won't work.

This is the most complicated issue i've always faced with pro tools, i used to mix down 10 to 20 tracks in ACID Pro with a fixed session tempo and the tracks will adjust their tempo accordingly to the session tempo.
In Pro tools i still cant manage to do it !! any help?

Digidesign (Avid) chose to make Pro Tools more flexible and give the user the control over whether or not an audio file/track adjusted to session tempo (and how and when it could/would be adjusted). This is a fairly simple fix once you understand how ElasticAudio works. If you read Ch. 38 in the PT Reference Guide, you will understand how what filosofem and cwsand suggested will fix the original issue raised in this thread.

I wish you were using Sound Forge 10, you would be done in like 10 minutes. There is a new time engine made by Izotope, which handles time and pitch processing, very well. Sorry I know this is a PT forum, but tools are tools and one should use the one that gets the job with respect to available resources.
