My Eventide and 001
So I have a DSP 7000 and I want to use it with my digi001 is there anyway to do this without haveing phase problems from the godamn 128 samples thing?

The latency with the "godamn 128 samples thing" is pretty much dictated by the whole concept of a host-based recording system. Without additional hardware there's not a whole lot that can be done about it. It's been exhaustively documented here and elsewhere. It's a known quantity.
Depending on what you're trying to do, there are workarounds. You can always make a clone of what you're sending to the Eventide to use as a send and nudge it forward to compensate for the latency. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. There's always a way to make it work. It usually comes down to how much time/patience you have. |
