Default Starter Plug-ins

Greetings all. I'm looking for a decent set of starter plug-ins to purchase. I basically need plug-ins to spice up my vocal recordings as well as shape up any other recordings as needed.(Effects, Dynamics, ect.) I know that there are many options out there and I plan on purchasing additional plug-ins when finances allow.I working in the $300.-$500. dollar range. Thanx in advance for your input.

Powerpack is great but I would rather start with the renaisance maxx since it has easier plugs to use, that is how they designed this line and for starter plugs I think the RVOX plug will make it a lot easier to dial in good vocal compression as opposed to the C1. You wont get the L1 though, it comes with the powerpack but that is really mostly for mastering IMO and if you want to try mastering get the mastering suite, L2 is awesome.

Yes rennMaxx is cool to sound but I find the NPP more versatile.

Also I only checked the Waves prices until I came upon this:

At Sweetwater the Renn MAXX goes for $450
NPP goes for $375. KILLER deals!!

check out thes have killer prices
