Digidesign Midi IO not working properly in Pro Tools 11.1 HD on Maverick!

I'm on OS 10.9.1 with Pro Tools HD 11.1.
I'm having issues with the Digidesign Midi IO.
It's not playing back correctly the midi notes.
here's two audio examples with "the same midi file".
it has been quantized. it sounds like the sound clip from my external synth (kronosx) is not quantized, but it's really the same midi file used on both sound clips.

Anyone having the same issues?

Sometimes we experience that aswell and I have to change the session from slip to Grid in the upper right corner and make sure that the session is set to "beats" and not "time" in the counter window and after all these changes our quantize works for the time beeing. Very weird and I don't know why this happen..
