can't get version 11.dmg to open and install

I have cross graded to PT10 after April 7th and qualify for the 11 upgrade.

I can't get the file Pro_Tools_11_0_0_Mac_79652.dmg to open. I downloaded it from the site and I have the ilok 2 key. It apprears that my licenses have transferred over from my older ilok key because I can open and run PT 10. The download was 867MB. Is that too small of a file or shows a corrupted file?

I have an mbox 2 with the latest drivers. I have an early 2009 MAC Pro 8 core 2.23GHz with ML.

I am pretty sure I am within the specs.

When I double click on the .dmg file it does nothing. I have down loaded it a few times.

Any help?

First, verify that you have the complete download from your Avid account.

1. It should show up after you download as around 909MB, at least it does on my mac after downloading it again just now.
2. It should be named "Pro_Tools_11_0_0_Mac_79652.dmg"

If all that is correct, try opening/mounting the DMG using Disk Utility, located here on your hard drive: /Applications/Utilities

File > Open Disk Image > navigate to the download you verified as correct.

That worked.

I may need to start another thread, but since you are an admin, maybe you know how to do this.

I have 10 and 11 co-installed. Both Icons are the same. I have 11 above 10, but I think another icon would create a lot less confusion.

Any ideas on how to change the icon for PT 10 or 11 without having the program go buggy?
