Where are we with this, boys and girls? I see 2.0.3 has appeared in my account, with the other extra downloads such as the factory library. Does this now work does anyone know? And if so does it have the Falcon 2 presets?

To answer my own question - the new installer seems to work, no more broken links. However, no new presets for Falcon 2.

I like the glass-half-full interpretation of this - it forces you to go through discovering the new features on your own, thus learning it better - but I'm so underwhelmed by the existing presets, I really do lack the motivation to learn what is clearly a monster. If you don't have other great VIs then its probably worth delving into this, for me it isn't (at least without any apparent evidence that things sound noticeably better in 2.0).

There's a couple of new expansions for Falcon but beware and pay attention to the fine print as some need Falcon 2.0.3 at a minimum.

Since I went ahead a bought Falcon 2 during the sale, is there anything extra I need to get from the AVID version? I'm assuming not, but wanted to check.

You don't need anything from Avid except for the Avid Plugsound library. You get everything you need from UVI. The UVI one will overwrite the Avid version - at least it did when I purchased F2 from UVI as it overwrote the Avid supplied F1.6. You can have both license assets on your iLok but they dont' affect each other.

the falcon factory is the new one it looks the same but once you expend it you will notice a different creation date oct 9. You replace the one in your library folder with this new one and you should have the new presets
