seagate barracuda ata and 001
i ordered the 20 gig 7200 rpm ata/66 seagate barracuda for my mac G4 450 with the 001. i'm new to macs....can i format and partition with software in the mac? FWB's HDT doesn't list my drive as supported for their utility. any help is appreciated.

You can use Apple's hard drive utility which is in the Utilities folder.
