If the rumours are correct you'd hope that the new released version of Hybrid would fix this and many other bugs.

Okay, there's still hope... The longer I lurk around these forums the more I feel that hope is the basic emotion that keeps Pro Toolers alive.

Guys - go back and read the Help Us Help You thread - if you want a guaranteed response from someone here at Avid/Digi, you need to submit a support request.

I'm not here all the time, nor is DigiCS or any of the other personnel that patrol the DUC.

Now, let's try this again.

You've all deleted the plug-in from your plug-ins folder, yes?

Then navigated to your main hard drive, then to the Library folder (the one at the top level of the main drive NOT the one in your Users>your account folder), then to Receipts and deleted any Hybrid (Setup or Update) .pkg files in there, yes?

Have you tried installing from a different admin account?

I'm checking with the AIR group to see if they have any further insight as well...

I found a way for reinstalling Hybrid
1 - Decompress the 1.5.2 dmg installer
2 - Right click on the "Hybrid 1.5.2 Setup.pkg" and select "show package content"
3 - Open the "Contents" folder and unzip the file "Archive.paz.gz"
4 - Navigate in Archive>Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plug-ins and put the "Hybrid folder" and "Hybrid.dpm" into into the plugin folder of your system
5 - Navigate in Archive>Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plug-ins Settings and put the Hybrid folder into the Plug-ins Settings folder of your system.

Now It's possible to update to the 1.5.3 and to find the patches.

I think I'll just wait for the exp. pack... It seems there are always bugs like this. If I take the time to sort it all out, I could never get any work done. I'll stay tuned in but I'm not creating special accounts on my computer to experiment for Avid. I'm sure the final help they will offer is "re-install everything". It always is... If there really was a workable fix we would have heard of it by now.
