Default 3rd party AAX plugins

Avid is telling us that over 30 companies are commited to deliver AAX plugins for PT 10. So far though I've only found the Blue Cat plugins to be AAX compatible.

Anyone found others?

Maybe we can update this thread as soon as new ones are released?

Thanks guys and gals!

McDSP free upgrade to AAX, waves hopefully will be a WUP all this is great news, but what about plugs like line 6 pod farm I use this loads for my sessions, I've been on their site but no info about it being made AAX. Also what about if you have a license for ReVibe which is gonna become AAX will avid exchange this for an AAX license or charge us a small upgrade fee. I'm just wondering about a few plugs on my ilok. For example DUY have announced AAX support but for about 7 months I've tried to contact them to upgrade to TDM but to no surprise they never replied so I don't hold my breath on this one. If the prices are reasonable for the plug upgrades I'll go for them, even better when they are free like McDSP (what a great company for customer support always sorted out my issues.)

Hopefully the upgrades are going to be priced reasonably unlike the 9HD to 10HD upgrade!!!!!

Sonnox EQ and Inflator should come soon in AAX format

So far it starts to look good.

I wonder if VI's will take a bit longer time to be converted to AAX ?
Seems like a waste of resources to make 32bit AAX versions if PT11 will be fully 64 bit in a year or two ?

I'd say don't hold your breath for seeing some plug-ins ported to AAX. Waves promised 64 bit AU plug-ins two years ago, and we've yet to see them. Sonnox, SoundToys and others are equally bad.

I'd be a lot more optimistic about the prospects for companies like iZotope, Spectrasonics, VSL and Native Instruments. I'm sure there are others.

In my book, iZotope wins the award for being dedicated to getting customers what they need. On the AU side, iZotope departed from iLock authorization for a time so they could get customers 64 bit versions (as iLock dragged their feet at providing 64 bit support for an interminable length of time).

I think it's important for users to pay attention to how fast companies come up with these upgrades. Some are WAAAY too slow. If it all possible, they're not going to get further business from me.

AAX are all 64-bit ready.
