Default MIDI bug - Transpose

When transposing with Event Operations Poly Aftertouch will not be "transposed". I guess MIDI Real Time Properties is not doing Poly AT right either.

I'm confused(but I am not a midi "power user"). Wouldn't aftertouch be a non-pitch related parameter(so there would be no need to "transpose" it anymore than transposing sustain or pitch wheel)?

You are referring to the more common aftertouch, channel aftertouch or monophonic aftertouch, I am referring to Polyphonic aftertouch where you can apply different aftertouch to different keys. I´ve got a Roland A-80 master keyboard that send polyphonic AT and I ´ve got a couple of hardware synths that can receive Poly AT.

Understood but I don't see how key pressure (which is all aftertouch in any form is) would be affected by transpose. PT would not see it as a MIDI note number which is really what transpose works on. PT won't know you have polyphonic aftertouch programmed in your synths for pitch bend which is what I assume you're using it for because after all that's for the synth to decode and not PT.

Any news on this. is it working in the latest update?
Poly at means aftertouch per key, meaning if you transpose the MIDI sequence the poly at info should transpose as well otherwise there will be aftertouch on keys you are not playing :)
It does work in Logic Pro X if using the track parameters.

I still stand by what I wrote almost seven years ago. PT doesn't see aftertouch as a MIDI note change which is what MIDI transpose works on.

Then Pro Tools are wrong
However even Logic Pro X is a bit confused...when using track parameters the poly at will transpose as well (which should be the only way and 100% logical), but if using region parameters poly at will not follow transpose.
