Where is my PT 10 License????????????

I bought an 11 rack with PT 10, with the free upgrade to PT 11.

It came with no included dvd, just an activation card for a PT download.

I logged into my Avid account to retrieve my PT 10 License and instead was given a PT 11 License. That's all.

My ilok account says PT 11 bundle.

Is PT 10 included in that license? If not where is it?

Why would I only be given a license for software that isn't out yet. I'd like to use PT today!

Yes it is. Just like Pro Tools 9 license assets were bundled in Pro Tools 10. You should be able to work that out by looking at the bundle.

Stop complaining. Install Pro Tools 10. Download the asset to your iLok and go.

These are likely packaged the way it is so people cannot detach the PT 10 license and sell it.

Thanks. I didn't see the 'show' button at ilok. I also didn't do PT 10, so had no prior knowledge of how they bundled it

A question isn't a complaint.

It would be unwise to install a version of Pro Tools for which one has no license. That leads to uninstalling, re-insalling osx, etc.

So I ask to save myself the headache I know oh too well.

Ah I expect you should have a "SHOW" button on the line after the asset on iLok.com. maybe its done slightly different, but either way this should run Pro Tools 10 for you. I don't have a PT 11 bundle in my account to check with what exactly iLok.com displays for it.

Cool, I found it. Thanks. It just threw me for a loop. I thought maybe there was a glitch in Avid's system and I was SOL 'til tomorrow. I'm at my studio 45 minutes from home and trying to get a new system up and running before I head home.
