Preferences
Hi all.
Can anyone help.I'm having problems with my preferences(error-199)and i'm wondering if i trash my preference and restart,will it replace it it's self or do i have to install it from the disc? Thanks guys Mac G4 OS 9 001 |

If you trash preferences, the next time you change any settings a new prefs file will be created.

It won't mess up your system. Pref files are just a utility that tell the software what settings you've set. When you trash the prefs it just reverts to the default settings.
