It's 2017 and I just bought an Eleven yesterday, totally kills it for me. I've had a ton of Line 6 products (still have several), and use real stomps and real amps for gigs, but for basement fun and recording this thing rocks. Huge.

Helix? Please.

Must say I have had all of the above sims as well. Funny that out of all of them, plugins included, I am left with the Helix Rack, Scuffham plugin, and my beloved Eleven Rack. After years of using it, the Eleven I have found is very discriminant to certain of my guitars. My Firebird III kills through the Plexi where my Tele does not - no matter how much I tweak it. TH AC 30 works best with my Strat and Tele. The Pauls work best with the Vibrolux. Problem is with most is they do not either have the patience or the experience to work with all the parameters available to them i.e: working the guitar - volume, tone, pickup and string selections OR working with the program - changing the mics, the cabs, the gain, the presence, the volume etc. I could guarantee that I could use the eleven in a pro recording situation and create "keepable" tracks if I absolutley had too. Fortunately, I have other choices - having said that - I have no sold my eleven. Even for the pittance that I could get. Sad that is.

I get better fusion tones with ReValver and Eleven free than with BIAS fx... BIAS (like Line6) sounds too much like BIAS.

Did they ever lower the price on ReValver?

Last time I looked it was still like $500

I just realized that you can purchase single items from the amp store, great prices although the activation system is a little dumb (edit: the activation system is fine, I AM a little dumb)

I recently went to a Helix demo by Line 6 at my local Guitar Center and was not impressed at all. The only thing it has going for it over the competition, is its simplicity to setup and use, which is powerful, I have to say. That being said, the AX8 smokes it sound wise and I hate saying that, as I hate that company, but I have to be honest.
