Default Re: Pro Tools LE 6.9.2 Update for Mac OS X Tiger

Well, I'm glad the update is posted...however, none of my volumes are apparently good enough for audio playback with this update.

I have a Dual 2.5 G5 and 2 internal HD's and an external Lacie, and an MBox.

What am I doing wrong?

HELP!

Larold

Same here... I keep getting the error message "Session must be on an audio record volume" whenever I try to record or open a new session. I have a brand new Dual 2.5 G5 and two Lacie Firewire 250Gb drives that worked fine before. What do I need to do? Any ideas?

Yup, go to your session browser and change your drives to record or playback volumes!

Also make sure to use the OSX Disk Utility to repair permissions on your drive after any OS updates or new software installs.

Woohoo! Great news. Can't wait to get PTLE running on my new G5.

Now if only I would have thought ahead and ordered the 6.9 upgrade during the wait... still on 6.4! The stupid thing is that it was all procrastination; I've known I needed 6.9 since late April.

O.K. quoting myself here..

so I removed the plug-ins: Broadband Noise Reduction LE and VocALignLEX (this last one has a 'blank' icon.... does it even belong here???) and put them on the desktop. relaunched PT. Now it gets stuck on 'DAE loaded... so this did not help. I'll be a good boy and will put the plug-ins back to their folder.. ....but then what..... DIGI!!! HELP!!
