Default OT, but donīt miss it!

Maybe you remember when Rudolf Gantenbrink in 1993 steered a camera robot into a 65 m long shaft of the big Cheops pyramid of Gizeh?

He ended at a stone plate whichs looked like a "door".
Now, it is planned to repeat the action and this time to drill a whole through that plate ( which is only 9 cm thick )and to introduce an endoscope through it.
National Geographic will show that on TV.

Optimists are awaiting Cheopsī treasure there. Sceptics say there wonīt be anything, because a few centuries after Cheops thiefs have had several months time for plundering.

Nevertheless, that broadcast should be thrilling anyways, more than 4000 years after people have been in there...

Unfortunately, I donīt know of any date except it to be on a Monday. Maybe it has been shown already yesterday?
Anybody who knows, please let me know.

Lalaman

Hey R-Atwork!

Terrific, thanks!!!!!
So the story is not at its end yet.

And:
Quote:
During the broadcast, Hawass made another find by lifting the lid on a stone sarcophagus found in a tomb built near the Great Pyramid, revealing the intact skeleton apparently of a man dating back to the period of the pyramid's construction some 4,500 years ago.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">What a coincidence! Isnīt it?
The great Mr. Hawass, naturally. -With his special guest live on screen.
Why must they ruin thrilling reality with arrangements?

Thanks again!

It's pretty interesting, too bad it may take another year for the next chapter of the story.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I saw that yesterday.. They opened a coffin and talked for a while, I eventually turned it.. They did show the robot in the corner of the screen with a little ticker "live from inside the tomb, the robot will blah blah in 20 minutes".. I didn't see the whole thing though..
