I have seen Memset, although never used it as these modern mobo's have OC profiles you can save a good working OC to. So I generally do my calculations with a calculator, dial it in the BIOS and see if it POST's. If it POST's correctly and I get to the desktop I then torture (Prime 95) it for a bit to see if it's stable. If it's stable with all 4 cores at 100% then I'll do some benches to see where its at.

yeah with the P5K Deluxe and my 0603 bios there are limitations with what secondary timings could be adjusted. so i had to rely on what was bein' adjusted automatically in some cases. this is where MEMSET helped me the most...on the ones i could NOT adjust. anyway, lemme know what ya think

I'm excited about the 4800 series and will be buying a 4850/70 very soon.
I just built a system for a freind a few days ago with 4850/Q9450. Its a very good gamers card, plays Unreal 3 at 1900*1200 really smooth at 60+ fps with 4*AA . It gets hot so maybe an Arctic Cooling accelero S1 would be a good idea if you get it for a system that is supposed to be cool and quiet.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the 4850 as My ThermalRight V2 passive cooler should fit it. The same coolers fit the X1050,X1600, X3850 and X4850. This would be going into my P5B Deluxe WiFi/Q6600 desktop. Apparently there is a PHYSX "Patch" out there to let them run the AGEIA code. I'm not a gamer but 60FPS is the magic number and 1900*1200 is a fairly high resolution for running eye candy.

3 Days ago? you got a early card pretty quick. Nice to see a non paper launch for a change also.

Default AUDIO CONFIG.

HI There!!

I just started to use my Mbox 2 Pro yesterday and I´ve got a problem with monitors.
I have the KRK RP-8 and I already made the conections, Right Monitor to the MON OUT RIGHT, and Left Monitor to the MON OUT LEFT output of the Mbox.

I can hear what I record, buy I also listen interference noises even some windows interference noises.

I don´t understand what happen.. I already configure the Mbox as the playback default device, is it that right??

Please some help on how to config the Audio Output on Pro Tools!!! Thanks a lot

first, not being rude but please post this in the correct thread for this kind of a post!!!

second, 2 things, you say interferance noises which is kinda vague. do you mean bleeps and blips and sound from windows, or do you mean like static and ground hum?? not sure from your post.

please move this post out of this thread and into the main pt le for windows.

At the moment I'm pretty sure I've seen a FSB wall (at around 460-470 and I don't want to pump more than 1.51V on the NB or more than 2.12V on the DRAM)
blade, do you manually set the voltage on the NB??? i've got all my voltages set to 'AUTO' except cpu and dram. what do you recommend?? thanks

Yes I manually set voltages to the NB and South Bridge. I wouldn't go for more than 1.55 on the NB and no more than 1.5 on the SB.
