Linear Phase Multi-band is huge, along with the L2. I slap those across nearly all of my mixes.

Focusrite compression on drum tracks.

Hey. Nobody mentioned the Waves Qseries eq's. Nobody likes them? Or is the ren eq better? I've always used the Q4 and Q10. Am I missing something?

Seems like L2 is very popular...
I wonder why...

for mixing;

Waves Ren EQ/Ren Channel
BF Compressors
Waves RenVerb/TrueVerb (not that i'm satisfied with this, but it's the best i've got in the 'verb dept.)
Digi Lo-Fi
BF SansAmp
Antares Tube (not a fav, really, but gets used very frequently)

for ghetto masters;

Waves Master Bundle (actually, add one or two from the rest of the Platinum to that)

I like to use

L2 (not because everyone else seems to use it because it sounds good)
RenEQ2, 4, or 6 (depends)
RVerb
RenVox (for vocals)
Q10 (over master fader)
Enigma is fun to mess with
Digi's Flanger
Digi's Delays
Waves Modulator (forgot which series it's from)
Ren DeEsser
Digi's Gain plug-in (for editing & mastering)
Ren Comp

Rennaissance owns. At least until I can afford a Mackie UAD-1. Is it ok to use that word around here? hehe.

I think one of the coolest most helpful to change and better your recordings is Mic Modeler...

If you have an idea of how you want your sound and how a certain mic will make it sound Mic modeler wioll do it.

That and a 414 and you can almost get anything!

How are you using mic modeller. It only works on MacOS and TDM HD. Do you have a workaround?
