No audio in Pro tools

I have no audio in Pro tools when trying to record on an instrument track.
I also tried playing a regular audio track no go. I was trying to play
Xpand midi settings were set to Xpand-1 and in prefs they were set to
the first midi track selected. I see the green indicators but there is
no audio at all in Pro tools. Iam on a Systemax Persuit 4155 Laptop 1.6GHZ
processor core Duo 1GB ram Mbox 2 Pro tools 7.3 Win XP Pro Realtek Audio
sound card Geniune intel(R)CPU

Are you able to hear any audio from Pro Tools at all? Will the demo session playback properly?

I cant get any audio at all
I get audio in my other apps but not Pro tools
nothing plays back.

I will go over everything again maybe I'm doing something wrong wish I had your
knowledge of the program SpkGuitar it pays to be certified.

Ican hear the audio when I use audio track with recording through Mic, but through keyboard when I record on the Instrument Trak, it records but there is no audio.
Which setting am I missing?

Hi,
I noticed this post. I was recording midi and just editing it in a regular session and all of the sudden there was no audio coming from any of the tracks and I tried opening my other sessions and now there's no audio. Might I ask what you did to fix the problem?

Yeah, I would like to know how you get playback sound in Pro Tools LE 7.4. It's really annoying!

Are your monitors plugged into your computer? That won't work, they need to be plugged into your Digi interface..

Do you get audio via the headphone jack?
