Nudgeing selection/automation over crossfade bug

Has anyone else noticed that nudging automation or a selection within crossfade boundaries is reproducibly buggy, in other words not working.

1.) Create a large enough crossfade (e.g. 2s).
2.) make a selection, with either the start point, end point or both points within the crossfade boundaries.
3.) Now nudge in either way.

The selection gets extended to almost the middle of the crossfade, and if you keep on nudging, the selection will be cancelled as soon as you are completely inside the crossfade.

Yes, I've seen this and believe it's a bug as well.
