Default Kensington Expert Mouse

I am having trouble getting my Kensington Expert Mouse to recognise key modifyers within Pro Tools 2020.2 (Windows)

The modifiers work in all other programmes including Avid Sibelius and just don't work at all in PT.
I've noticed that the extra keys can be programmed into basic functions with sucess in PT, such as a right or left click, but more complex shortcuts just don't respond, such as Ctrl+Equal and Ctrl+Windows+L Click.

I am editing the keys using Kensingtonworks and have tried setting it on both 'Pro Tools' and 'All Applications'. I have also tried reinstalling the software many many times. Kensington Support wasn't much help...

Thanks so much

As a long time user what you want to do can't be done at least with stock drivers. I don't know if Steermouse will work or not.

It seems odd that it works in everything else other than pro tools.

If you're asking about Steermouse - Mac Only. Seeing as how you don't say what operating system you're running one can't really give a good answer. No such thing as TMI when asking for help here. I'm on a Mac here.

Not so odd. Kensington's s/w is built around standard stuff in an OS.

On Windows you can try X-Mouse Button Control, it's the best mouse driver I've found and it's free.
