Can't Find Hardware after xp/win7 upgrade
I had to upgrade from windows xp to windows 7 and now I'm trying to install Pro Tools M-Audio 8.0. I got a link to the 8.04 update from Avid and then I used the 8.05 updater. Everything seems fine until during startup I get the message that my hardware can't be found and to make sure it is connected and powered up. I'm using Fast Track USB. My Fast Track driver is current. Any ideas on how to make Pro Tools see the Fast Track USB?
Thanks in advance. |

Re: Can't Find Hardware after xp/win7 upgrade-solved
Problem solved...finally. I needed to install driver software from Fast Track USB. I was able to find this on the Avid site and once the driver software was installed Pro Tools 8.05 was able to detect it.
