23.98 and Dolby E
I've been told that in order to work with 23.98, tri-level sync, and Dolby E,
I need to have the Dolby 579 tri-level sync box. Does anyone know where I can rent one? On a related note, does anyone know if the Neyrinck Souncode E plug-in will work with 23.98? Thanks, JJ |

Re: 23.98 and Dolby E
Yes, you do need to use the DP579 for any hardware based Dolby E workflow at 23.976 fps. Audio Rents in LA has them available; they will ship to you.
Regarding the Neyrinck plug-in, I can't say if it can create a 23.976 stream, but I can't see why that would be a limitation for a file based system. Perhaps Paul can chime in. |
