Default 23.98 and Dolby E

I've been told that in order to work with 23.98, tri-level sync, and Dolby E,
I need to have the Dolby 579 tri-level sync box.
Does anyone know where I can rent one?
On a related note, does anyone know if the Neyrinck Souncode E plug-in will work with 23.98?
Thanks, JJ

Yes, you do need to use the DP579 for any hardware based Dolby E workflow at 23.976 fps. Audio Rents in LA has them available; they will ship to you.

Regarding the Neyrinck plug-in, I can't say if it can create a 23.976 stream, but I can't see why that would be a limitation for a file based system. Perhaps Paul can chime in.

Yes...

SoundCode works just fine at 23.98.

You can also use the Nanosyncs HD from Rosendahl.

It can generate almost all clocking signals.

While the Nanosyncs is a fantastic device (have on in my own post-studio rack), it does not generate Dolby Black, which is required for 23.976 operation.
