Track Presets not showing in Workspace [solved]

The other day i had the exact same issue again..Track presets disappeared in Locations in Workspace
I deleted again miscsettings file and relaunched pro tools..then they appeared again
Strange...

I'm having a similar issue on 12.8.3 where I don't have a "Save Track Preset" option at all in the menu. It's also not showing up in the Default Workspace. See screenshots.

The only reason in my opinion that this might be happening is that I once opened PT11 from an external drive on the same computer, when I had AAF issues. I just tried deleting MiscSettings,WaveCache, Workspace but it did NOT fix it.

Weren't track presets introduced in 2018.x? Memory a little fuzzy.

HaHa, you're totally right, it's 2018 feature only. I've used the "hack" in the past hence my confusion.
