Had the same issue. I went into the Pro Tools Installer folder and ran "setup.exe" as an administrator. Smooth sailing from there.

Im having this same problem, ive tried it on 4 different computers and it keeps doing the same thing

Did you try running the exe as administrator?

Otherwise you may have a dodgy install disk. Contact Avid customer support and get a downloadable copy of PT.

Was having same issue, turned out theres a hidden folder called "Pro Tools Installer" that has an actual working setup.exe in it
