Default Pro Tools too large for screen

I've been having trouble with fitting pro tools to fully fit the screen. When I am using it the plugins are too big and the mixing window is only showing half. I have to scroll down to see the bottom half of the faders. The screen resolution is not the problem. How do I fit pro tools to the screen I am using to be able to view it completely?

More info may be useful.

- What screen size?
- What resolution?
- etc...

I'm using a desktop and laptop. The desktop is 1920x1080 and the laptop is 1366x768. The weird thing is, when I am on my desktop computer, after I start a session, I insert a pitch shift stock plugin and it changes the display to the way I am talking about that I need. It fits everything to the screen, then I just remove the plugin afterward. On my laptop, it is not working with this method at all.

Windows or OSX?

If Windows, are you using scaling? Because this has caused problems in the past. If so, try setting the scaling to 100% (recommended)

Yes! That was it. You led me to the answer, thank you very much. I have Windows 8.1 and it was a scaling issue. I right clicked on the pro tools icon on my desktop and went to properties, compatibility tab and disabled display scaling on high DPI settings. Thanks again.

This was a solution for my desktop but the laptop I use for mobile recordings still has this problem. The scaling for Pro Tools is to large for the screen. I am using windows 8.1. Is there any solution to fix this? I just need it to be scaled correctly because otherwise it is very cumbersome to use.

Default Pro Tools 12 Scaling Issue

I am using the latest Pro Tools 12 on a Dell Laptop with Intel graphics and a display of 1366x768. Every time I open Pro Tools it is too large for the screen. The scaling is not right. I clicked disable display scaling on high DPI settings but it didn't work. However, this did work on my desktop computer. Any solutions for this? My laptop is running Windows 8.1. Thank you.

What plugins are you having trouble with? 1366 x 768 is a pretty low resolution for working with some plugins.

Well, the long ones. Since everything is not scaled correctly, half of the plugin will go off the screen and I can't use whatever is at the bottom. It's not just that. It's Pro Tools itself. When I'm in the mixing window that shows the faders, I see them but the bottom half of them are cut off. I have to scroll down to see the rest of them. I need to be able to see everything at one glance. Like I said, I did resolve this issue for my desktop but it does have a little better graphics card and it is also running at 1920x1080.
