Default Opening Send Fader Strip

Hi all

I am a new S3 owner and absolutely loving it.

I can add a send to a track directly from the surface and, having done this, when I click on the send with my mouse the send fader strip appears and the correct controls on the S3 are affecting the send level, panning etc. My question is should I be able to open the fader strip directly from the S3 i.e. get it to open and close in the same way plugins do using one of the 'Sel' buttons?

The manual covers controlling the send but I can't seem to find an answer to this question.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Terry
