How to mock a Sonic Maximizer...
How to mock a BBE Sonic Maximizer with native plugins. just curious as to what all it entails.

+1 for Vitamin. Now if you want to do this without spending a dime, you still might have success. Try this:
1-Add a send on the track you want to treat and fee a mono aux track. 2-On this aux track, insert EQ III 7-band and enable the hi-pass(lo-cut) filter and push it up to around 3-4KHz 3-In the next slot, insert a distortion plugin(like AIR Distortion or SansAmp) and go for a mild clipping preset. 4-Play the tracks and bring up the aux fader. Experiment with moving the hi-pass corner frequency and different distortion settings
