Powerlogix Processor Upgrade

I need an upgrade to tide me over until I can get a new computer so I'm probably going to buy the 1.2GHz Powerlogix upgrade from the Other World Computing site. The price there is $449. Any other recommendations on sites that might be cheaper??

I bought the same upgrade from OWC a couple of months ago. At that time the price was $499 (although I took advantage of the $150 rebate for sending them my old 867 processor). They seem to have the best prices for PL upgrades. I've been very happy with the upgrade; I think $449 is a pretty good deal for the extra MHz.

Tried that. The page just sits there indefinitely. Maybe the DUC doesn't like Safari.

It can be a little slow in Safari for me but it works well.
