S3 Eucon 3.2.2 - SOLO bug

There is a Shift bottom left and Bottom right. Multi shift is also on the bottom left.

In this instance why has Marco to hold down multi shift ?

The shift buttons are not like keyboard shifts. They select the second layer of all of the S3 buttons.

The multi select/SHIFT is the same as the shift button in a keyboard.

To select multiple solo buttons, you would either use the shift button on a keyboard or the multi select/SHIFT button

I understand that but I took it that Marco was working with the shift layer active ?
There is also no need to multi select shift when soloing. Just hit all the solo buttons you want ?

I Cliffy, I know that, but as I have the shift pressed (layer), because I need it my first workflow attempt, I discover that the solo don't work when it's pressed.

thanks anyway for the reminder, it's a good one. the name is the same but the function in this hardware is other :)

If you have Shift engaged, when you press the first solo button, it stops the motorised faders from moving (but automation is still active in the session) although personally, I'd prefer it if the Solo function just acted as normal when shift is enabled.

Thanks! I didn't know it (S3 is just a week here, so there's enough to find out )

Bad news from here,

S3 as few faders "broken" they are dead.

Send it back to repair...

Yes, I've done all troubleshooting with Avid Support and Avid rep.
