Default cymbals cut off in BFD

Hi guys, how do I fix my cymbals not getting abruptly cut off when programming? AS per Duncan, whether I use a 1/16 note or 1/2 note, BFD recoqnizes the midi note as a one shot sound file, so it should not matter what note is used ( providing there isn't an immediate note thereafter). So I tried using drumtrax and Xpand drum plug and I never had any cymbal issues.... HELP!

BTW when you guys use BFD in the programming stages ( or before submix) what sample rate do you opt for?

There's a bug in the BFD program that often causes the cymbals to cut short. The fix is posted in the FAQs on the FXpansion website.

Which version are you using? The latest version is fine on my system.

Make sure you have the latest updates from Xpansion, also I use the 16 bit mode. I've not noticed a sonic difference between 24 bit or 16 bit mode. I also recommend disabling all other plug-ins when programming and writing audio to tracks. That usually ensures a clean take with no drop outs. BFD is very CPU and memory dependant.
