7.3 Will not start after MacOS Update
ptle 7.3.1 will not start after I installed some updates (done 3/16/07) on my mac (via software update). When I click the icon (or double click in finder) the software appears to try to launch but then stops with no visible error or dialog.
I have an imac 2Ghz core duo, 1.5 gb ram and am using an Mbox2 (factory bundle). It was running fine prior to the software update. Is there a simple solution to get it up and running or do I have to install everything again? Thanks for your help.

As a Protools and Mac newbie, I just did not read the forum before updating, and installed the 10.4.9 combo updater. I have the same non-starting behaviour ONLY when I plug in my Mbox 2 when my Mac Book Pro (15" Core2Duo 2.33) is on. It seems to work perfectly after a restart, with the Mbox 2 plugged in though.

Don't use Software Update to update your system. Go to Apple's website and download the combo update.
