Default Edit: My mistake, it is $199 a year for Vanilla Upgrade

I have PT 11.3, no Avid hardware.
Do I assume that I have PT Vanilla being it is software only?
For the last bunch of months reading here on the DUC I thought I kept seeing $199.00 a year for PT (12) Vanilla being talked about.
All the pricing I have seen for PT 12 software only is $299.00 per year.
So is $299.00 it for me if I want to stay in?

On a side note. I have never received any emails or communication from AVID in regard to all the changes in policy they have instituted in the last 12 months. I never even received a email announcement about PT12 and I do have a active account.
To me that is pretty lame.

I'm also on 11.2 and my account says it's 199.- for the new splash screen.

If you don't have HD you have "Vanilla" and no need for hardware on any version of PT HD or not since version 9.

If you pay $199 you will be on the support plan and the $299 is if you have a monthly subscription at $29 per month. For the yearly plan its $199

Since you are on 11.3 you qualify for the upgrade to v12, so it's indeed $199/year with the support plan. $299 is the subscription (not an upgrade) without the support plan.

Thanks folks.
When I log into my Avid account I am not seeing the $199 splash screen.
I'll look around again.
Thanks very much!

Finally found it, thanks again. Didn't buy, not sure what I'll do, still thinking about it.

Log into your account then go to the PT12 page, you'll see the "upgrade now" button" -> $199/year.
