Default Eleven Rack not showing up in Mac High Sierra 10.13.2

I have recently upgraded my audio set up and got a new computer so everything is a fresh install. I followed the directions for installing the Eleven Rack but it won't show up under my System Preferences under Sound, Input or Output. So it won't show up in Pro Tools either. Under System Preferences it does show the Avid Eleven Rack icon and when I go to that it says device not connected. Under System Report it shows the Eleven Rack connected to the 1st USB port under USB 3.0. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I have also tried putting the USB into other USB ports but that didn't seem to work unless I have to reinstall and try each port after each reinstall. From the research I've done I believe everything is compatible unless I overlooked something. Is this a driver issue? I've run out of ideas, does anyone have one? Anyone run into this? My system specs are listed below. Let me know if you need anymore information, thank you!

The latest Eleven Rack Driver only specifies compatibility up to 10.12 so that could be it.

Have you tried a USB2.0 port?

On the Avid website it states that the Eleven Rack supports 10.13.2 OSX. Where did you see that information? I haven't tried a 2.0 yet, my iMac doesn't have any so I'd have to get an external 2.0. But the Eleven Rack manual says it has to be connected to the main computer USB port and not a hub. But I could try it out regardless.

top line says Supports macOS Sierra 10.12

But it does look like they updated it where it says "Also supports" and they do list 10.13.2....

Although that driver is over a year old.

Well, I'm not sure. You said this is a clean install? You can still try trashing preferences. USB3 should work, it's just not supported on Win7, so if you had any 2.0 ports it's worth a shot, even though you are on OSX.

Has the Eleven Rack ever worked on this system?

Works perfectly on my system via USB 3.0.

Mac Mini (late 2012)
2.3 GHz i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
macOS High Sierra 10.13.2

Welcome to the community.

Please check System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and you should see a warning that it was blocked from loading. Click Allow to enable it.

This here was the solution. It must have snuck by me, just had to be something simple . I uninstalled and then reinstalled and as soon as the computer booted up that was waiting for me in System Preferences. Everything is working. Thank you!
