I/O busses missing

If I open a session in PT HD 12 that was started in PT HD 11, all the busses in the session are in tact as they were. Busses in the I/O window will be displayed in stereo pairs 1-2, 3-4, etc......going up to 127-128.

However, if I start a new session in 12, the I/O only lets me have busses up to 23-24. Defaulting the I/O doesn't correct this. So what am I doing wrong?

Create new bus paths. Number available is unlimited. 24 is the default.

Seriously? When I would default the I/O using PT 11 I would get all 128.

Depending on your version, you probably could have created more.

Yeh......128 was about 90 more than I'd ever need. But when did 24 become the default. It never was for me.

I can work fine with 24. Just messes with my habit of assigning certain numbers to certain things.
